IRP/IFP Scientific Committee
The IRP/IFP Scientific Committee is a joint organ of the IRP – Fondation international pour la recherche en paraplégie, based in Geneva and IFP – Internationale Stiftung für Forschung in Paraplegie, based in Zürich (hereinafter referred to jointly as “the IRP Foundation”). It consists of scientific experts from across Europe who are both active and internationally recognized in the fields of neurosciences and paraplegia.
Every year the IRP Foundation receives a considerable number of requests for financing research projects into paraplegia. The IRP/IFP Scientific Committee is tasked with studying these projects, evaluating their significance and making recommendations to the IRP Foundation, for funding the most promising clinical and research projects.
